Having trouble seeing videos on our site? Here's help. |
|
Our videos are made on a Macintosh computer using iMovie, Quicktime, and other Mac programs. They are added to our site using Adobe Contribute and are "standards based." If you have a Mac, you should have everything you need. You do need a high speed connection. If you are using a PC using any Microsoft browser, you need to download some other programs to see our videos as well as many others on the internet. There are four video "platforms" for computers... Windows Media Player which came with your PC, Quicktime, Realplayer, and Flash. Videos work better with Firefox browser, so start there. First download Firefox, install it and use it as your main browser. Second: download Quicktime and install it. Click on the button for "download." It is usually on the left hand side. Third: download Realplayer and install it. Download and install the flash player All of the above are free. Depending on your connection speed, the above may take anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes, but you'll end up with a system that will play any video from anywhere. If you have dialup and want to go high speed but can't get DSL or cable, we suggest Wildblue.com |
