We take internet security seriously. One of the ways people will try to take advantage of you

is to "spoof" an email address. This is "electronic forgery." To help you avoid this problem on our web sites, we have our system set up so that we have separate outgoing and incoming email addresses. Below you will find the outgoing and incoming addresses but with the "at" and "dot" spelled out and spaces inserted so automated "spiders" (automated computers) "crawling" the internet cannot "harvest" them for illegal or unethical purposes.

Our outgoing address is "moody at northriver dot coop" or "bobmoody at mac dot com". The "dot coop" is because we have our internet service through a satellite internet provider associated with the local telephone cooperative, as we are located in a rural area. The "mac dot com" is an email service through Apple Computer.

Our incoming addresses are bob at bobmoody dot org and bob at fundraisingcentral dot net.

Our incoming addresses are "catch-all" so that you can put anything before the "at" and we'll get it.

Our "reply to" addresses are generally to the bobmoody dot org or fundraising dot net addresses. This helps us identify your message as a reply from our email or from our web site.

So.... if you receive an email from anything other than moody at northriver dot coop, or bobmoody at mac dot com, it isn't from us.

You do need to pay attention to the difference between the "from" and the "reply to" addresses.

We hope this helps you understand email safety and will help you have more confidence in our company.
